Things I hate: Fan elitism
I don’t like Harry Potter, but for goodness sakes! Come on
Who cares if you haven’t read the books, or you haven’t seen the films, or whatever! If you think you’re a fan, then you are. Don’t let people tell you otherwise

^ this
so you’re trying to degrade people because they haven’t read the books? Well done, you’ve just achieved the douchebag award. Why don’t you wear the medal on your chest for everybody to see.
Just because they haven’t read the books it doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy the series - it’s not like the films have a completely different plot or storyline that you can’t relate to. The definition for a ‘Harry Potter fan’ isn’t ‘somebody who’s read all the books and all the films and enjoys the series.’ It’s just simply ‘somebody who enjoys the series’, isn’t it? You don’t need to start setting guidelines and rules as to what you can be if you’ve done this, what you can be if you’ve done that.
This is why I’m not part of the Harry Potter fandom, because the majority are arrogant twats who think they’re better than everybody.

Do you think we should get Luke to say this version too?
